Service Team

Service Teams are groups of people from age fourteen upwards who want to give the odd weekend of service to Ross Wood. Service Teams stay on site for the weekend of their duty, and work with the Warden to undertake some of the usual day to day jobs such as clearing gulleys, maintaining fencing and pathways etc and also more exciting project work such as developing new attractions or maintaining existing ones. Service Teams help at the site whenever they can, whether this is four or five times a year or just one.

Other Help

We also have a number of people who help us in a variety of ad-hoc ways. There are always a million and one ways to help us out, whether it be maintaining activity equipment, stocking the stores, helping out with administration, planting trees, putting up bat boxes, cutting grass etc, we're always looking for help.

Please contact the Warden if you would like to offer support.
